Dollar Tree Garden Fence Candle Holder Diy Rustic Farmhouse

Dollar Tree Plastic Garden Fence

I took this plastic fence from dollar tree and made this faux wrought iron candle lantern.

I snapped off the stakes with pliers then sanded the rough edges. I then started to bend it into the square shape. This was the hardest part because the plastic cracks easily. Once I got the shape, I connected it together. There are already pins on the fence that are used as connectors. I then cut a piece of foam board to glue into the base. It helped hold the shape and gave a platform for the candle to sit on.

I used chalk paint to brush on. I didnt want to cover it all, I wanted a worn look. I should have painted it first, it would have been much easier.

The last step was to add the candle. I used a battery lit one. Then I added some flowers to fill in. For more Dollar Tree Crafts and decorating ideas, follow my blog. Thanks!
